STAND TALL IN SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS
The Stand Tall In-School Presentations are available to all NSW schools, from the most isolated regional areas to those in capital cities. The program offers a diversity of world class, professional Stand Tall speakers who bring their powerful life stories and then conduct hands-on workshops within secondary schools.
Individual schools have the opportunity to choose a speaker who they feel can address their school’s most pressing need. These presentations and/or workshops can be tailored to the differing needs of the school in both format and length, the packages available include an option of 1 hour sessions, half-day sessions or full-day presentations. Our speakers bring powerful and diverse messages from their own area of expertise and provide opportunities for students to unpack and discuss positive ways to implement the lessons learned.
“The Eloise Wellings presentation was perfectly timed for our Year 9 students. Her discussion on resilience and perseverance was encouraging for our students and has given a point of reference for us as teachers to refer back to. Her presentation about the charity her family began linked really well to the program we run in Year 9, The Rite Journey, as in Term 4 we look at our purpose and what we have to give.
I would highly recommend her presentation to other interested schools as engaging and inspiring.” Teacher, Private School, NT

The Stand Tall School Champions Program is designed to encourage students to be part of a movement that supports the purpose of Stand Tall The Event “to call out bullying and to encourage young people not to be followers of poor behaviour but to stand tall and be leaders in strong, positive decision making that will influence those around them”.
The Stand Tall School Champions Training Program will enable a team of students from each school to become influencers of change for good. The team will explore their own strengths, the strengths of each team member and then will then set out to identify a school based project/initiative/program that they can develop, take back to their respective schools and implement to make a positive contribution to the school community.
Goals of program:
To help students to develop an appreciation of their personal strengths that contribute to their capacity to champion a cause or positive change for good.
To help students develop an appreciation of how their personal strengths and the strengths of others can contribute to a team’s capacity to champion a cause or positive change for good.
Teach concepts to consider whilst championing a positive change or cause
Develop skills and strategies to be able to identify and enact positive change within their school community
Assist students to develop an awareness of needs within a community
