It’s one of those things, its a bit of a gamble when a new program comes along, we do get a few across our desk, so it can be a bit of a risk. We thought we’d give it a go and its had an absolutely incredible impact on our whole school community. It has opened up questions from students. We have a very diverse school community so we have some students who have come from quite wealthy backgrounds, we have some students who come from incredibly traumatic backgrounds so its a bit all over the place. But this program absolutely had something for everyone and it knitted the students together in a way that we haven’t seen before - the impact was quite extraordinary. Some of our more jaded teachers, perhaps, less enthusiastic about jumping in and having to run another program were absolutely blown away at the program itself and also the resources that followed up. Very very important, particularly living on an island as we do, its just been extraordinary.
