We are excited to announce the inaugural Stand Tall Regional Event Tour, supported by NSW Government. Stand Tall will begin the regional tour at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre, followed by two big tent events at Dubbo Showground and Pambula Sports Complex!
These Stand Tall Regional Events are suitable for High School Students in years 7-12. The topics covered by the Stand Tall Speakers cover components of the PDHPE Curriculum, making this a great opportunity for schools to bring full cohorts of students to the event. This TedX style event for secondary students is now in it’s 10th year, bringing a host of speakers together in one room to arm students with the skills of resilience, the strength to stand up to bullying, the keys to motivation, the power of perspective and the benefits of making good and wise decisions. These come together to build hope for the future in these teens, a vital component to their mental wellbeing. And it happens all in one day.

Anna Cocquerel has overcome significant challenges from early on in life including severe dyslexia, scoliosis which forced her to wear a brace to school and led to bullying, as well as debilitating anxiety. While in senior school, she started acting and was cast to play the role of Coco Astoni for 3 years in Home and Away. Anna wants to give hope to students struggling with learning difficulties, poor body image, anxiety and bullying – giving them tools to overcome their challenges, and understand their own unique value.
